Hi @Potatoes3,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I hear that your HP printer shows Wi‑Fi connected, but there is no internet. HP recommends these checks:

  • Restart the printer, computer/mobile device, and router.

  • Make sure your device is connected to the same network name (SSID) as the printer.

  • Check the printer Wireless light. If it is solid blue, the printer is connected to the network.

  • Do not connect to DIRECT-xx-HP [printer model] if you want normal network printing.

  • Make sure the printer is not connected via USB, because USB can block Wi‑Fi setup and disable the printer's internet connection required for some services.

  • If your router uses both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, note that not all HP printers support both bands. HP says to ensure 2.4 GHz is enabled and broadcasting. If separate SSIDs are used, connect the printer to the supported band.

  • If the connection was lost, restore Wi‑Fi setup mode on the printer, then re-add the printer in the HP app/software within two hours.

  • Print a Network Configuration Report or Wireless Network Test Report to identify connection issues and follow any instructions shown on the report.

  • If the printer is on the network but still unavailable, HP notes the router may be restricting two-way communication to the printer.

I hope this will help.

Take care and have a good day.

I'm an HP Employee.
