Hi @Chanu01,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out!
I Understand your concern about the right Wi-Fi driver so your connection stays stable and reliable. The version you mentioned 2024.10.231.0 is quite specific, and I’ll be glad to help you check whether that’s available or if there’s a newer release for the Realtek RTL8822CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter. and don’t worry let me help you with this.
To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?
- Are you experiencing frequent disconnections, slow speeds, or the adapter not being detected at all?
In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Update via Device Manager: Press win + x → choose Device Manager → expand Network adapters → right-click Realtek RTL8822CE → select Update driver.
- Check HP Support Assistant: If you’re using an HP device, the Support Assistant tool often provides the latest certified drivers for your model.
- Reset Network Settings: Go to Settings → Network & Internet → Advanced network settings → Network reset. This can clear out conflicts.
- Power Cycle the Adapter: Disable the Wi-Fi adapter in Device Manager, wait a few seconds, then enable it again.
I hope this helps.
