@Arul1,

Welcome to HP Support Community,

Let's try these steps here to find if your computer supports a hosted network.

In order to do this, I would suggest you launch command prompt in Run as Administrator.

Now type in "netsh wlan show drivers" (Please note: type this without the quotation marks) in the command prompt.

The hosted network supported field should indicate "Yes" If your computer supports WiFi sharing.

If it says "No", this means your computer won't support hosted network and you might not able to use or create a hotspot.

Please try these steps here and get back to us with the results for further assistance.

Hi Jeet_Singh

Yes ,it was showing 'NO' hence thought of checking other options.

If there are no others option means fine.

Thanks for you help

@Arul1,

Thanks for the update,

As you have checked the option on your PC and it shows as not supported, this clearly indicates that there are no hosted networks listed.

Alternatively, a good workaround is to procure a wifi USB dongle and plug it to one of the USB ports. Then connect to the router with it. It is extremely cost effective and economical. You could get it for a song from a local Best Buy or Staples location or order one online at Amazon or Ebay.

I hope this information helps.
