Envy
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been having trouble getting connected to the WiFi when I updated to windows 10  which was tolerable because I would be connected for a few hours. Now it won’t show the WiFi icon.

I did all that...  I thought it worked because the icon should up but then it went away... I noticed that every time I turn on the computer it shows up with the available networks and then some minutes in I am no longer connected. I click on the icon and it did not show anything networks available when other devices were connected. What else could I do?

@jack_s,

It looks like you were interacting with @asmita6658, but she is out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out,

I would suggest here is to uninstall the wireless drivers from device manager:

Right-Click on start button> click device manager> Network adapters>then select the wireless drivers and right-click on it and uninstall the Wifi drivers.

Then restart the computer and check if you are able to go online.

Finally, please update the bios, chipset and wifi drivers from this link: http://hp.com/drivers Please select the country and follow the on-screen instructions.

Also, download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.

Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.

Alternatively, I would suggest here is to run the test of tht Wireless from F2(Please capture the failure ID for further assistance).

Let me know how it goes!
