WiFi option is sometimes totally and inexplicably missing, which seems to be a problem other people have had, but I haven't found a permanent solution. My working temporary fix is to download a BIOS update and install it, which always returns the WiFi option, but then it'll disappear again somewhere between one day and four months later. Sometimes, just opening the BIOS menu on start-up and clicking around, not changing or updating anything, and then exiting appears to fix the problem, though not every time. Looking for a permanent fix. Perhaps the computer is somehow reverting to an older corrupted version of BIOS? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the wireless drivers, booting up in Unix, and most other network reset / troubleshooting-type solutions from this forum.

Hello nmarieh, download this driver and see if the WiFi cuts are removed.
