There are a lot of community posts speaking of WiFi frustration on HP laptop products.

I bought my HP Notebook - 14-cf0008ca Sep, 2018 and also had frequent WiFi disconnects. So much so that I pretty much used it hardwired.

I decided to update my laptop to the WIN10 1809 build this past week.

Along with the update came a number of HP updates. I had 7 HP updates but I suspect one of these 3 updates has fixed my WiFi.

  • HP HIDCLass 2.1.9.1
  • HP Firmware 15.34.0.0
  • Realtek 2024.0.6.103

My WiFi has been rock solid for 3 days now!!!

Everything else with my laptop has been great!

That is good news.

 

There is an even newer Realtek wifi driver recently released...

 

I gave it to another forum member who had issues with the frequent disconnections of the Realtek 8822 wifi card...
