Wifi network disabled whenever PC goes into hibernation. Needs to be restarted to get wifi back again. The wifi itself seems to be there but internet access is no longer available. Other devices remain connected to internet on the same network.

Hi @Vitaus ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're experiencing connectivity issues with your HP ENVY x360 laptop when it goes to sleep or hibernates. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to address the problem:
Update Network Drivers: Ensure that your network drivers are up-to-date. You can visit the official HP website, enter your laptop's model number, and download the latest network drivers available for your operating system.
Power Management Settings: Adjust the power management settings for your wireless adapter. Sometimes, power-saving features can cause connectivity issues. Follow these steps:
- Right-click on the Start button and select "Device Manager."
- Locate your wireless network adapter under "Network adapters."
- Right-click on your wireless adapter and select "Properties."
- Go to the "Power Management" tab and uncheck the option that allows the computer to turn off the device to save power.
Windows Power Options: Adjust the power settings in Windows to prevent the system from turning off the wireless adapter during sleep or hibernation.
- Open the Control Panel and go to "Power Options."
- Click on "Change plan settings" for your selected power plan.
- Click on "Change advanced power settings."
- Expand the "Wireless Adapter Settings" and set both "On battery" and "Plugged in" to "Maximum Performance" or a similar option.
BIOS/UEFI Update: Check if there's a BIOS/UEFI update available for your laptop on the HP support website. Sometimes, firmware updates can address compatibility issues that may cause connectivity problems.
Disable Fast Startup: Fast Startup is a feature in Windows that may interfere with network connectivity after sleep or hibernation. To disable it:
- Open the Control Panel and go to "Power Options."
- Click on "Choose what the power buttons do."
- Click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable."
- Uncheck "Turn on fast startup."
Network Troubleshooter: Run the built-in Windows Network Troubleshooter to automatically detect and fix network-related problems.
Check for Interference: Ensure there's no interference from other electronic devices or neighboring networks. You can try changing the wireless channel on your router to see if it improves stability.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
