Hello,

The below are the details of my  Laptop

Model no : HP notebook 15 ac044tu.  

wifi adapter  : Broadcom BCM43142 802.11 bgn wifi m.2 adapter. 

 wifi driver version : 7.35.352.0

 

Currently i am not able to see 5GHZ in N/W & Internet settings through wifi. Whether the above model supports 5GHZ ?. If yes then share the wifi driver

Hi:

 

That model Wi-Fi adapter only works on the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band.

 

If you want dual band, you will have to either use a dual band USB Wi-Fi adapter or this one dual band Wi-Fi card should work in your notebook if you want to replace the Broadcom card:

 

Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.
