Hi:

I can't find any information on anyone upgrading your notebook's model series to a wifi 6 card.

So, if you want to experiment, I recommend this card and HP part number.

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # L35282-005.

You can buy this model wifi adapter directly from HP for 25 quid.

HP Parts Store - HP Computer Parts - HP Printer Parts - Compaq Parts

If you decide to take the gamble, please post back and let us know if it worked or not.

Thanks for swift responce.

Yes looking online seemed to suggest this card as AX201 was for 10th generation onwards.

mixed success reported online with the ax200 / ax201 upgrades  but have decided to purchase the ax200 to give it a try.

Card coming end of the week so will install and report back on how its works.

My router is ASUS GT AX11000 Tri band and gettitng a 1.777 Mbps both ways to laptop but uplaods to NAS started 80 odd MB per sec but every driver update seems to sow this down, now about 40MB sec.

Download ro laptop max's out at 113MB sec and never ahd any issues with speed.

BT Fibre to Home 900 Mbs down 120 Mb Up.

Give you a report end of the week, Thanks again

You're very welcome.

Hopefully, the AX 200 card will work just fine.

Hello,

Card arrived and has been fitted.

after a couple of reboots the system sorted itself out and is now working fine.

Showing a connection each way at 2401Mbps.
