Wifi Connection is Connected but no Inflow of Data after 10 minute of Switching on the Laptop

Firstly, Thankyou all for reading my issue and helping me out.

So here we start, since 22nd March 2020 I am facing this issue and I just can't figure out what's the issue either it's a Software or Hardware.

  1. I am using a Tenda Giga Fiber router which supports Dual Band both 2Ghz and 5Ghz with 50Mbps Fiber internet connection.
  2. The issue which I am facing is whenever I switch on my laptop or revive it from sleep the internet is working fine which is connected to Wifi Signal but again after 3-7 minutes the internet stops working( there is no data inflow). The page does not load, netflix is not loading, everything is standstill. I repeat when connected to wifi signal.
  3. The Wifi is connected still no data inflowThe Wifi is connected still no data inflow
  4. Screenshot 03-24-2020 16.10.21.jpgScreenshot 03-24-2020 16.10.09.jpg
  5. After this issue, I tried some of the Troubleshooting steps which I will explain in detail below,
  6. I thought it was my internet issue or router issue so I tried resetting and restarting my router also my internet id & password. In my residence I have another 4 laptop devices and 5 mobile devices which are working perfectly fine under this connection except my Hp Notebook.
  7. I have reset my Browsing softwares and updated all my Network Drivers, still the issue remains.
  8. Screenshot 03-24-2020 16.11.03.jpgScreenshot 03-24-2020 16.11.20.jpg
  9. The next step which I tried was using the internet through Ethernet Cable and it works totally fine through the cable.
  10. Screenshot 03-24-2020 16.08.27.jpgScreenshot 03-24-2020 16.08.12.jpg
  11. So the conclusion to this is that there is some Software Glitch or Hardware glitch in my Hp Notebook due to which I am not able to access the wifi network and there is no data inflow, could anyone please let me know how to fix it? Thanks in advance. 🙂

@Aman007 Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that  Wifi Connection is Connected but no Inflow of Data after 10 minutes of Switching on the Laptop.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Did you reinstall the network drivers? or update it from the HP website using a wired internet connection?

While you respond to that, I recommend the below steps:

Go to Device manager > select the WIFI drivers under network adapter> Right click go to properties  > Under properties go to Power Management Tab> Uncheck  "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power".

If the issue persists, continue with the below steps:

  • If your computer has a wireless key or button on or near the keyboard and the wireless activity light is off or amber in color, then press the key or button to enable your wireless adapter. This key might be the F10 key, F12 key or labeled with a symbol of an airplane.

  • If wireless activity comes on or the activity light turns blue, you have enabled wireless on your system. Try connecting to the Internet again. If problems persist, continue using these steps.

  • If your computer does not have a wireless key or the wireless activity lights remain off or orange then continues using these steps.

  • Click Start, type troubleshooting into the Search field.

  • Select troubleshooting from the search results.

  • Click Network and Internet.

  • Click Internet Connections

For more details consider using the HP Guided Troubleshooter:

Hi,

Thankyou for replying. YES, I have updated the drivers from the Hp website and also turned of the shutdown driver option for power saving. Did all the troubleshooting mentioned above except one as I did not understand. Please let me know what to do next.
