Hi,
I bought this laptop 2 days ago. Yesterday the wifi dropped every 5 min. Today it was fine, until this evening and it also dropped every 5 min.
I tried a few things
1- Disabled bluetooth
2- Updated Bluetooth drivers and system firmware drivers. All the other drivers including the wifi device are up to date
3- Unchecked the box for battery saving for the wifi adapter
4- Restarted Laptop
5-Changed the beacon value
My router works fine. My previous PC never had this issue. All other devices have stable internet too.
My wifi seems to be working fine now suddenly. I will see in the near future if I still have issues. Probably tomorrow for no good reason. I hope not.
Here is the information you need apparently:

Hi:
I believe there are newer wifi and Bluetooth drivers for that card then what you have installed now.
You may want to update wifi and Bluetooth drivers and see if that resolves the problem.

I did most of what you said.
Then I gave up, then it worked fine.
Thank you, HP is so complex and interesting, those CPU machines change space and time in a such a funny way.
I love you
