I've just bought a new Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa1000 (771S7AV).
This model came with windows 11 preinstalled which is not my preference. I installed windows 10 and right after the installation I realized that there were no Wifi option available.
So, I checked "Device Manager" from the Control Panel looking for the Network Card, and I couldn't see any Wifi Card...
The only Network Card I can find is "Realtek Gaming GbE Family Controller" but it's only for ethernet connection.. I know that there is a wifi adapter present as I was able to connect while still briefly on windows 11 but it is currently missing in action for some reason
The official site HP had no windows 10 drivers available for this device. Is there some sort of universal driver I can install or am I doomed to have to use windows 11?

Hi:
If the Wi-Fi adapter is missing a driver, there will be a device listed in the device manager under an Other devices category labeled as a Network Controller.
If you see that device listed, please post the hardware ID for it so I can figure out what W10 driver it needs.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device:
