I have a HP Pavilion 14-ce1999na laptop and I've been experiencing problems with a disappearing network adapter for wifi connection. The problem started after a recent Windows 11 update. I've been using Windows 11 on this computer for a long time now and there were never any problems before. But now, after the mentioned update, I noticed that the Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11ac PCIe Adapter goes missing. The first time it happended, the issue could be fixed by HP BIOS update. But then another Windows 11 update took place and the problem came back - the adapter disappears as soon as the computer goes to sleep and comes back only when I reboot by pressing the button, but it keeps disappearing every time the computer goes to sleep.
I assume the reason is because the adapter is for Windows 10 and there are no Windows 11 version available for my laptop model (at least I can't find it on HP website). Is there a way I can fix this other then switching back to Windows 10?

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the updated driver for that model Wi-Fi adapter, which is good for W10 & W11:
