HP15-R007TX
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I need the bluetooth driver for hp15-r007tx windows 7 64-bit.

I tried installing bluetooth drivers from hp support page and by searching the internet using the hardware id.

The drivers install but the bluetooth is listed as a hidden device in the device manager. On expanding the bluetooth devices ,Bluetooth Audio Bus Device and Ralink Bluetooth PCIe Adapter are shown.

I could see bluetooth controller under other devices if I uninstall bluetooth driver so I guess its about not installing the correct driver and not a hardware issue.Capture 1.PNGCapture 2.PNG

It would be great if anyone could give the correct wifi and bluetooth drivers for hp15-r007tx win 7 64-bit for the following hardware ID

PCI\VEN_1814&DEV_3298&CC_0D1100

Wifi:

You're very welcome.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't know why the bluetooth isn't working.  It could be a hardware issue with the wifi card.

If you want, you can upgrade the Ralink wifi card to this one and the bluetooth will most likely work again.  Plus you will have dual band AC wifi.

Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 802.11 ac 2x2 WiFi + BT 4.0    HP Part # 710661-001

The card is readily available on eBay.  Maybe Amazon too.

Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure.

Before installing the Intel card, go to the Windows control panel>programs>uninstall a program.

If there is any Ralink bluetooth software listed there, uninstall it.

Then go to the device manager, uninstall the Ralink bluetooth adapter under the Bluetooth adapters device manager category and check the uninstall driver box.

Do the same thing for the Ralink wifi adapter under the Network Adapters device manager category.

Then shut down, unplug the PC, remove the battery and install the wifi card.
