Product: HP Pavilion x360 14 Convertible PC 14-dy0000 (23S38AV)

When I connect the laptop to the external display, wifi and bluetooth stops working. Wifi driver shows error. Bluetooth driver just vanished from the device manager.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

 

Let me check your basic system configuration before we focus on the <bluetooth> problem ...

 

(1) Run    msinfo32

- Select <System Summary>:

--->>> Copy/screenshot/paste following key/value pairs:

 

OS Name

Version

System Model

System SKU

( equals HP product number (p/n) )

Processor

BIOS Version/Date

BaseBoard Product

BaseBoard Version

 

(2) Start Windows <Device Manager>

- Expand <Other devices> ? (Those entries are for hardware for which Windows has not loaded a suitable driver)

- Expand <Bluetooth USB>

- Expand <Network adapters>

--->>> Send screenshot

 

(3) Please report your results

1) System summary

2) Device manager: Now Bluetooth is working fine which corrected itself.

(1) Create Windows system <restore point>a

How to Create a System Restore Point on Windows 10 or Windows 11

 

(2) Download and install / update

Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver

2120.100.0.1085 Rev.I20.1 MBAug 2, 2022Download

 

(3) Visit --->>> Intel Wi-Fi Site

- Download and install WiFi-22.170.0-Driver64-Win10-Win11.exe driver

(4) Visit --->>> Intel Bluetooth Site

- Download and install BT-22.170.0-32-64UWD-Win10-Win11.exe

(5) Restart Windows

(6) Test again

(7) Please report your results

(1) Download and install from Microsoft Apps Store

HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows

or

HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows v1.8.2.0

 

(2) Run <HP Diagnostics for Windows>

--->>> Perform Component Tests to check <wireless adapter>

 

(3) Please report your results ( error messages, take screenshots )

( if serial number, device id, UUID, System Board CT Number is displayed, please blur )
