Hi

What shows in Device Manager?

Hidden Devices.png

HP Recommended

network.PNGThis is what shows up for my network adapters. When I was experiencing problems, the Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 bgn was there, so I uninstalled and tried to reinstall the driver but it ddn't work.

Hi

So you didn't try the HIDDEN DEVICES  option?

So Make, Model and OS please, SKU if you have it.

getmac

ipconfig -all

Getmac All.png

AND post the result please.

HP Recommended

Yes, the Network Adapters included the Hidden Devices Option.

2023.15.701.2015 Rev.A32.5 MBAug 18, 2015Download

Just a tip, in a DOS box type cd.. and you go up a level, repeat, and you dont show the name you covered up.

AND getmac produced what?

C:\Users>cd..

C:\>getmac

Physical Address    Transport Name
=================== ==========================================================
48-48-48-48-48-27   \Device\Tcpip_{FE8C17AA-1613-4F0A-9BBF-4344B97CB399}
B0-5A-DA-DE-84-28   Media disconnected
48-48-48-48-48-28   Media disconnected

So until we find the adapter there is very little can be done to install drivers.

Hi

The adapter is missing. So either reinstall or replace.

Hi,

I'm using the dowload you gave me but nothing is showing up on the device manager. I did the setup process but it hasn't worked. Can you show me what to do?

Thanks!

Hi

So I am not understanding the situation.

I posted a picture showing HIDDEN DEVICES, included in the list were my Ethernet and WiFi adapters.

You posted a picture showing only the Ethernet Adapter.

I posted the results of getmac showing 3 devices, my Ethernet, Bluetooth and WiFi, you only have 1 which is your Ethernet.

Until you find the WiFi adapter there is little that can be done.

SSID WiFi Born On.pngGateway.png

ESC and F1 at power on shows the first picture and lists my WiFi.

The next one is Control Panel; Network and Internet; Network Connections.

Now the command ' driverquery' lists 200 plus drivers on your system, the ones below are more targeted.

netsh interface ip show interface
netsh lan show interfaces
netsh wlan show drivers
netsh wlan show interfaces

C:\>netsh interface ip show interface
