Wifi connected but no internet 'Windows XP'

Somethings wrong with my hp compaq nx6110 when I connect to the wifi or connected by a router it gave me access but theres a problem the Internet explorer "The page cannot be displayed" even all of the program that needs wifi doesn't work I need help
