  • BIOS: Check for and install any BIOS updates from the HP website.

Power Management Settings:

  • Open Device Manager.
  • Expand Network adapters.
  • Right-click on your WiFi adapter and select Properties.
  • Go to the Power Management tab and uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

Network Troubleshooter:

  • Open Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
  • Click Network troubleshooter and follow the prompts.

Reset Network Settings:

  • Open Settings > Network & Internet > Status.
  • Click Network reset and follow the instructions.

For Wired Connection and Blue Screen Issues

Update or Reinstall Network Adapter Driver:

  • Download the latest driver for your network adapter from the HP website.
  • Open Device Manager.
  • Expand Network adapters.
  • Right-click on your network adapter and select Uninstall device.
  • Restart your computer and reinstall the driver you downloaded.

Check BIOS Settings:

  • Restart your computer and press F10 (or the key specified by HP) to enter the BIOS setup.
  • Navigate to the Advanced or System Configuration tab.
  • Ensure that UEFI Network Stack or UEFI Network Boot is enabled.
  • Save changes and exit.

Blue Screen Error Codes:

  • Driver_IRQL_Not_Less_or_Equal: This error usually indicates a problem with a driver. Ensure all your drivers are updated.
  • KMODE_Exception_Not_Handled: This error is often related to hardware or driver issues. Updating or reinstalling the problematic drivers usually resolves it.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Can't find the Power Management option under properties of the network adapter (MediaTek) in Device Manager (Windows 11). Having same connectivity issues (works fine with ethernet connection).  Think it is the system effecting the wireless adapter after a period of time.
