Wifi feature stop working abruptly and can't detect any networks around

Hi

My wifi feature stops working abruptly every now and then and when I try to connect back to my wifi, it cannot detect any of the networks that are around. I have to restart my laptop and then it goes back to normal. It has been happening since I bought this laptop. Recently it has been happening more and more. It is really frustrating to face this during meetings and other important tasks. I'm not sure what to do here.  HP customer service is effectively non-existent. Can't arrange for a call back nor can I get in touch with their whatsapp service. Not sure what to do here. I still have 1 month left on my warranty.

I don't think it has anything to do with the OS as I have faced this issue in windows 10 as well. 
Can someone help?

How do you download a driver if you can’t connect to the internet?

You can download the file with another computer/smartphone and save it on a USB flash disk. If you have a router with LAN connection, you can connect "the affected computer" directly with a LAN cable and download the file as well. There are many possibilities. The only important thing is that the file is on a USB flash drive and can be installed on the computer that needs it.

Open the list of <network adapters>

Please try this:

(1) Download

Realtek Semiconductor Corp. - Net - 6001.10.349.0

Microsoft driver Realtek Semiconductor Corp. - Net - 6001.10.349.0 cab file

(2) Unzip the cab file with windows explorer or 7-zip.

(3) Update your wireless driver like this:

(4) Reboot and test again

I tried this as well. It is still happening. 

This time something bizarre happened. The wifi feature has totally disappeared from the dashboard. I am attaching a screenshot.
