Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

My wifi isn't working on my laptop. On other devices it is working.

I tried to re-install the driver of the wireless network, but that didn't work.

What can I do?

@Timdieterman, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Forget & Reconnect to Your Wi-Fi

Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage known networks

Click your Wi-Fi name > Forget

Reconnect by selecting it again and entering the password.

Run the Network Troubleshooter

Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters

Run Internet Connections and Network Adapter troubleshooters.

Check in Device Manager

Press Win + X > Device Manager

Expand Network adapters

Look for something like Wireless LAN

If it's missing, your wireless card isn't being detected.

If it’s there but shows a yellow ⚠️ icon, right-click > Uninstall device, then restart.

Install the Correct Driver from HP

Reinstall the wireless driver from HP directly:

Visit Official HP® Drivers and Software Download | HP® Support

Enter your HP laptop’s model number

Choose Windows version

Go to the Driver – Network section

Download and install the Wi-Fi/Wireless LAN driver

Reset Network Settings

Go to: Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset

Click Reset now

Restart your laptop and reconnect to Wi-Fi

Also, you can refer to this guide: HP PCs - Troubleshooting Wireless Network and Internet (Windows 10) | HP® Support

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
