Microsoft Windows 11

I just received my new hp laptop. I am attempting set up and have been able to enter the country and  language. When I get to the internet connection page, it recognizes my network, but will not accept my network security key or password. I have tried all the steps recommended to resolve this issue, but nothing works. I am unable to do any troubleshooting because the only page available is the internet connection page, no access to start up.

Hello @12Martin53

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

Try to connect to a temporary smartphone wireless hotspot ( simple passwort with or without encryption ) point as a substitute.

Please report your results

Kind regards

Thankyou for your response. As usual, with me, it was confusion on the wifi security code. I thought it was the code on the router, but it was the password. Two different things. All good now. (Feeling a little embarrassed).
