Hi,
I recently bought a HP Laptop 15-db0xxx. Since the first day the wifi keeps disconnecting. Tried updating the drivers and also anything regarding power management ( High performance on wifi plus unticked the option for the computer to put it to sleep when it needs power ) Nothing seems to work. Someone posted about a bios update here in the forum but I am not sure what I will need to do. Any solutions to this issue? I am running windows 10 home 1803 version
Thanks for your time.

Thank you for posting this on HP Support Forums!
I see from your post that you're having issues related to Wifi disconnecting. Don't worry we'll work together to help you find a solution.
I would suggest here is to Run Windows Updates troubleshooter -
Download and install the troubleshooter from this link.
Now try to perform a Windows update:
1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...
HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
-
Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
-
Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
-
Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
-
Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
-
Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also ensure Windows is up to date.
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!
Eagerly waiting for your response!
that said, If the information I've provided was helpful,
give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck.
