Hi @RKhot,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Laptop 15s-fq5112TU running Windows 11 version 23H2 is not showing Wi-Fi networks, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some steps you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve this problem:

1. Check Wi-Fi Toggle

Ensure that the Wi-Fi on your laptop is turned on.

  1. Check the Wi-Fi switch or function key: Some laptops have a physical switch or a function key (Fn key combined with a function key like F3 or F12) to enable/disable Wi-Fi.Open Action Center: Press Win + A to open the Action Center and make sure the Wi-Fi tile is turned on.

2. Restart Wi-Fi Adapter

Restarting the Wi-Fi adapter can often resolve connectivity issues.

  1. Open Device Manager: Press Win + X and select "Device Manager."Find the Wi-Fi adapter: Expand the "Network adapters" section and find your Wi-Fi adapter (e.g., Intel Wireless, Realtek, etc.).Disable and re-enable the adapter: Right-click the Wi-Fi adapter, select "Disable device," wait a few seconds, then right-click again and select "Enable device."

3. Update Wi-Fi Driver

Updating the Wi-Fi driver can resolve many issues.

  1. Open Device Manager: Press Win + X and select "Device Manager."Find the Wi-Fi adapter: Expand the "Network adapters" section and find your Wi-Fi adapter.Update the driver: Right-click the Wi-Fi adapter and select "Update driver." Choose "Search automatically for drivers" to let Windows find and install the latest driver.

4. Reinstall Wi-Fi Driver

If updating the driver doesn't work, try reinstalling it.

  1. Open Device ManagerUninstall the driver: Right-click the Wi-Fi adapter and select "Uninstall device." Check "Delete the driver software for this device" if available, and confirm.Restart your laptop: Windows should reinstall the driver automatically.

5. Network Reset

  1. Open Settings: Press Win + I.Go to Network & Internet: Click on "Network & Internet."Network reset: Scroll down and click "Advanced network settings," then click "Network reset." Follow the on-screen instructions and restart your laptop.

6. Check WLAN AutoConfig Service

  1. Open Run dialog: Press Win + R.Type services.msc: Press Enter to open the Services window.Find WLAN AutoConfig: Scroll down and find "WLAN AutoConfig."Start the service: Right-click it and select "Start" if it’s not running. If it’s already running, restart it by selecting "Restart."

7. Check for Windows Updates

  1. Open Settings: Press Win + I.Go to Windows Update: Click on "Windows Update."Check for updates: Click "Check for updates" and install any available updates.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
