I no longer have the option to connect to wifi on my laptop. I have had this issue before, however, it typically resolves with restarting my computer. I have restarted, updated, and troubleshooted and nothing seems to be working. Is there a way or trick to getting the option to connect to wifi to return? Any help is appreciated.

Have you checked in the device manager to insure that the WIFI device has a driver and is enabled?
Had you considered using system restore to roll your Windows installation back to a day before the WIFI stopped working?
It would be something to use when your laptop's WIFI module is giving the operating system a hard time and unnecessary stress for you.
Had you considered buying a WIFI dongle to plug into an available USB port?
There are some inexpensive and tiny, Bluetooth dongle sized, but powerful WIFI dongles available.
