Hi @sAs_CAD,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thanks for reaching out! Let's troubleshoot the Wi-Fi issue on your HP Laptop 14-inch. Since it was working before and suddenly stopped, here are the steps you can follow:
1. Check Wi-Fi Toggle
- Make sure Aeroplane Mode is off.
- Press Fn + F12 (or just F12) to toggle Wi-Fi on/off (look for a Wi-Fi symbol on the key).
2. Restart the Network Adapter
- Press Windows + X → Device Manager.
- Expand Network adapters.
- Right-click your Wi-Fi adapter (e.g., Realtek, Intel) → Disable → wait a few seconds → Enable.
3. Forget and Reconnect to the Network
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage known networks.
- Click your network → Forget.
- Reconnect and re-enter the password.
4. Run Network Troubleshooter
- Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
- Run the Internet Connections and Network Adapter troubleshooters.
5. Update Wi-Fi Driver
- In Device Manager, right-click your Wi-Fi adapter, → Update driver → Search automatically.
- Or download the latest driver from the HP Support site.
6. Reset Network Settings
- Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings > Network reset.
- Click Reset now. This will restart your PC and reinstall network drivers.
I hope this helps.
Take care, and have an amazing day!
