Hi @HarshaL_333,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To address the Wi-Fi issue on your Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15, follow these steps to get your laptop back online and update your drivers.
Check if Wi-Fi is Enabled
- Ensure the Wi-Fi toggle is enabled in your Windows settings.
- Use the Function (Fn) key + the Wi-Fi key (usually one of the F-keys) to toggle Wi-Fi on/off.
Update Wi-Fi Drivers via Another Device
Since you can't access the internet on your laptop:
- Identify your Wi-Fi adapter:
- Press Windows + X > Device Manager > Expand Network adapters.
- Look for something like "Realtek," "Intel," or "Qualcomm" Wi-Fi adapter.
- Download drivers on another device:
- Visit the HP Support website and download the latest Wi-Fi drivers for your laptop model.
- Transfer the drivers using a USB drive.
- Install the drivers:
- Open the downloaded file on your laptop and follow the installation prompts.
Use a Recovery Drive for Drivers
If you created an HP recovery drive:
- Plug in the USB recovery drive and restart your laptop.
- Access the Recovery Manager during boot (press Esc or F11 repeatedly).
- Select Troubleshoot > Reinstall Drivers and follow the instructions to restore your Wi-Fi drivers.
If you don’t have a recovery drive, you can create one using another Windows computer:
- Follow Microsoft's instructions or use the HP Cloud Recovery Tool to create a recovery USB.
Try Ethernet or Mobile Hotspot
While troubleshooting, connect your laptop to the internet temporarily:
- Ethernet connection: Use a wired Ethernet cable to your router.
- Mobile Hotspot: Use your phone to create a Wi-Fi hotspot.
