HI, IM CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET VIA WIFI, INTERNET STOPS WORKING (ITS FINE ON OTHER DEVICES SO ITS NOT MY PROVIDER) I LOOK AND THE BOTTOM RIGHT AND NO CONNECTION IS AVAILABLE. IVE GONE INTO NETWORK SETTINGS, THE WIFI SECTION HAS DISSAPPEARED. I THEN HAVE TO SELECT STATUS - CHANGE ADAPTOR OPTIONS - THE WIFI SECTION HAS A RED CROSS INSIDE THE BOX.
I HAVE TO RIGHT CLICK, DISABLE THEN ENABLE FOR IT TO CONNECT AGAIN. EVEN THOUGH I HAVE AUTOMATICALLY CONNECT TO THIS WIFI PROVIDER SAVED AND HAS WORKED FINE EVER SINCE IVE HAD THIS,
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS WHY IT KEEPS DOING THIS AND HOW TO STOP IT CONTINUOUSLY HAPPENING?
THANKS IN ADVANCE,
DAWN

You're very welcome, Dawn.
I'm thinking your notebook has the Realtek RTL8723BE wireless adapter with bluetooth, correct?
There is a much newer driver out than the W10 one on your notebook's support page.
You may want to give it a try and see if it helps...

This package contains the driver installation package for the Realtek RTL8723BE/RTL8188EE wireless LAN Controller in the supported notebook models running a supported operating system.

Hi:
What model wireless network adapter does your notebook have?
The only suggestion I can offer would be to see if there is a driver update for the wireless adapter.
If you don't know what model wireless network adapter your notebook has, go to the device manager, click to expand the Network Adapters device manager category, and there you will find the name and model number of the wireless network adapter.

Thanks for replying.
I've opened up the Network Adapters folder
There are two which start with BlueTooth
Two which start with Realtek and then 9 which start with WAN Miniport - how do I no which one it is?
Thanks

If you have a USB flash drive, you can download the driver file onto another PC and copy the driver to a usb flash drive, plug it into your notebook with the bad wlan connection, and install the driver that way.
