Just take your time.

Make sure you carefully pry the antenna cable connectors from the wifi card.

Removing and replacing the card shouldn't take more than 5 minutes.

Center the antenna connectors over the wifi card terminals and push down.

They should snap on.

You shouldn't need to do a system backup to replace hardware.

Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2526&SUBSYS_00148086&REV_29\6&12756007&0&000800E6 requires further installation.

Not sure what that means...

Checked for driver & best is installed 5/28/19

It just won't turn on/ Troubleshooter tries to turn it on but it can't fix it.

I turn wifi on & its shuts itself off.

Its not that it wont connect to my router...it does not pick up any wifi networks. I try tenable it but it wonlt

Running out of ideas

Only installed intl drivers as they say not to instal the intel pro software.

The blue tooth driver did not want to finish *& had a problem with the system but I'm not worried about BT as I dont use it.

Wonder if I disable the wifi when I enable it it might come on?

N0 it then said no drivers & blue screened

Tried to uninstall & reinsstall.

 blue screen or more again

Now says 9260 won;t start so its checked in device mgr/...

Wonder if it is missing that thing on the processor but othere systems have installed it but not sure about a 4 gen i7 4710MQ...

Frustrating & not sure what to try next

I got it back to look like its working & installed but it won;t go on...Some errors quote a radio problem

Working in ethernet which it did not before I changed the card as it seemed to have security issues.

I noticed the mac address for the internet is different than the mac address for the wifi...

Also it changed the ipv4 for the computer ...just dont know if any of that means anything
