Hi All, I have an old HP G72, that i have upgraded, HHD to SSD and RAM to 8Gb, it's a great laptop I just wish it was faster on the net. Is there a 5 G wifi card that will work with this machine????

Hi:

 

Unfortunately, there isn't.

 

Your notebook also has a BIOS whitelist which blocks the installation of any model wifi card that is not listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual.

 

Your only option for dual band wifi would be to purchase a USB dual band wifi adapter.

 

This one is dual band and even has Bluetooth and is relatively small in size.
