I have a HP 15 laptop with windows10. something happened where it keeps asking me to set-up my pin, when I clicked on it , it just spins and re-asked the question again. Now pissed off, I deleted all the partitions and installed windows 7 64 bit. Everything went fairly good, but now I have no ethernet controller, network controller, PCI encryption/ decryption controller, SM bus controller,USB controller and 2 unknown devices listed.
Where can I find these controllers to install?
Is it possible to install these ?
Thanks
Mike

Hi:
Here are the links to the W7 drivers you need:
You will need to download the Wi-Fi driver from another PC, copy it to a USB flash drive, plug the flash drive in your notebook's USB 2 port, copy it to the Windows desktop and run it from there.
Realtek RTL8xxx Series Wireless LAN Drivers
Then you can download and install the rest of the drivers you need directly from the notebook:
First install the AMD chipset driver from the link below: Select the W7 64 driver--the 1st file listed under that section:
Then restart the notebook.
Graphics:
AMD High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver
Then restart the notebook.
Audio:
Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver
Then restart the notebook.
Ethernet:
Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver
Touchpad:
Synaptics TouchPad Driver
Then restart the PC.
SD card reader:
Realtek Card Reader Driver
If there is anything still remaining that needs a driver please post the hardware ID for those devices, so I can figure out what drivers they need.

What is the full model number or product number of your HP 15 notebook?
From the device descriptions you posted it sounds like an older one with a Pentium or Celeron processor.
Once you let me know that info, there is a good chance that W7 drivers exist for it.

You're very welcome, Mike.
That is the TPM 2.0 security device in need of a driver.
There used to be a fix, but it is no longer available from Microsoft.
I had saved the Microsoft hotfix years ago, so hopefully it still works.
I zipped it up and attached it below.
I believe that you just unzip the attached file open the folder and run the hotfix.

Hi Paul,
I guess the TPM2.0 doesn't work anymore, but thank you for helping me. I tried to install it from safe mode and non safe mode and it didn't fix the issue. It's ok at least the computer works now..
Again a BIG THANK YOU for ALL your help. Hope you have a GREAT day !!!
Thank you
Mike

You're very welcome, Mike.
Sorry that the old Microsoft hotfix didn't work anymore.
There is only one other thing **bleep**
A long time ago, I found the actual driver for that device, but you would have to try manually installing it.
I have zipped up the driver and attached it below:
Unzip the file to its folder.
Do not do anything with the files in the folder.
Go to the device manager, click on the TPM 2.0 device needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for driver software and browse to the driver folder that you unzipped.
Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver will install that way.
Here is a partial copy and paste of the driver setup information file that shows driver support for that hardware ID:
[ControlFlags]
ExcludeFromSelect=*PNP0C31,ACPI\PNP0C31,ACPI\BCM0101,ACPI\BCM0102,*MSFT0101,ACPI\MSFT0101,*FTPM0101,ACPI\FTPM0101
If that doesn't work either, then you will have to live with that device missing a driver.
