HP Pavilion 17 Notebook PC Product G4X63UA#ABA Windows 8.1 upgraded to Windows 10 1901
After a recent update the keyboard quit working. Reinstalled Windows. Keyboard works through BIOS but not on regular use. We are now temporarily using a wireless keyboard that works great.
Our biggest concern is we can not get on the internet. It says we have a need for a network adapter. We've tried BIOS, and settings, and last resort perhaps need drivers. We've tried internet cable and WAN, and wifi. Maybe some one can give us an idea or perhaps we need the link for the network adapter drivers. And how do we install the drivers? Perhaps with a thumb drive?

The parts list for your notebook indicates that it comes with a Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11bg/n 1x1 Wi-Fi adapter.
This is the latest W10 driver HP has for that model Wi-Fi adapter:

You can download the driver from another PC.
Copy it to a USB flash drive.
Plug the flash drive into your notebook and copy and paste the driver from the flash drive to your Windows desktop, double click on the file to run it and install the driver.

We have installed the driver as you instructed and we can see the program in Network Programs and Features. The command prompt pops up for a second and says "sending a batch file" (something like that, it all flashes very quickly) but then the command prompt screen closes. We did a reboot and think the driver is installed but it doesn't seem to be running. This all began after a Windows Update was installed resulting in: our keyboard stopped working, the bottom right corner of the screen indicates we do not have a battery installed/or working, and it will not connect to the internet either by wifi or cable.
The laptop was working fine until the Update.
