HP Notebook - 14-bs057sa
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

My laptop is a dualboot laptop that has Windows 11 and 8.1. On the Windows 11 machine, networking works as expected, although in Windows 8.1, It has missing WiFi drivers (the drivers are for Windows 10 and above). If there are any network drivers for Windows 8.1, please tell me as this may help me solve my problem.

Hi:

If your notebook comes with the Realtek RTL8723 Wi-Fi adapter, see if this W8.1 driver works for it.

2023.79.619.2018

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp91501-92000/sp91514.exe

You need this W8.1 Bluetooth driver for that model Wi-Fi adapter:

1.0.0.1021

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp98001-98500/sp98266.exe

You probably need the W8.1 Wireless Button driver too:

1.1.15.1

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp74001-74500/sp74484.exe

Thanks for this reply! I already have a Bluetooth driver, should I put the file on my USB and then install it? I seem a bit confused on how to install it.

Hello and thanks for the reply! On my laptop (a dualboot system) It says Realtek RTL8723DE 802.11. I want to check if it is a virus (the drivers you supported for me) and I do seem to have bluetooth drivers pre-installed! Should I check it?

You're very welcome.

You can download the driver any use a USB flash drive to transfer the file to your W8.1 OS, and run it that way.

It is highly unlikely that the Bluetooth driver is installed.

Under the BT device manager category, there is probably a generic Bluetooth adapter installed, and not the Realtek Bluetooth device that is installed by the driver.
