That's weird.

 

Unfortunately, I have no idea what you are going to need to do now.

 

If it were me, I would back up my files and do a W8.1 reset and see if that fixes the problem.

 

You would probably have to still intall the Intel BT driver from the support page after resetting the PC if you don't see the bluetooth device labeled as an Intel Bluetooth device.

So , i fixed it the old fashioned way.

i flashed the BIOS.

Icon came back and works perfectly.

thank you for your time and effort. 

I can sleep soundly now.
