You haven't answered my question...

Do you have W7 SP1 installed?

If not,  the graphics drivers will not install.

The version of W7 should show up on the system information window.

 I guess I have it?

Yes, you have SP1 installed, so I don't know why neither driver version is installing.

See if this works...if you have not deleted the driver folders that were created, try manually installing the Intel graphics driver file as follows:

You may as well try installing the newer one of the two...

Go to the device manager, click to expand the Display adapters device manager category.

Click on the Standard VGA adapter listed there.

Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update driver.

Select the 'Browse my computer for driver software' option and then at the bottom of that window, select the 'Let me Pick from a list of device drivers on my computer.

Click on Have Disk, and browse to C:\SWSetup\sp101485\Graphics\igdlh64 (setup information file), click Next and hopefully the driver will install that way.

Then to install the Intel HD audio driver, go to the device manager, click to expand the Sound, video and game controllers device manager category.

Along with the IDT audio device, there should be another HD audio device.

Click on the HD audio device, click on the driver tab, click on Update driver, select the 'Browse my computer for driver software' option and browse to C:\SWSetup\sp101485, make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and the Intel HD audio device should install.

Then restart the PC.

I can't locate the file after clicking have disk but I can still locate it on my laptop because I rename it to be able to identify it

HP Recommended

Re-download the file and try it again...

HP Recommended

Just redownloaded and tried it again but still the same. The disk is not opening the downloaded file.

You have to first download and run sp101485.

Then it creates a driver folder in the following directory, even when it generates an error:

C:\SWSetup\sp101485

That is where you need to browse to...

...C:\SWSetup\sp101485\Graphics\igdlh64 (setup information file), click Next...

i did ran it the last time but will try it again and revert
