Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have an old DV7T-2000 CTO which works great for what I use it for. It currently has the 504593-001 network card that only supports the 2.4 ghz network. Looking at the manual, 554604-001 supports 5ghz. I can get one on eBay but I was wondering if it will work correctly or not boot up. Currently I am using a USB Wifi dongle.

Thanks

@Prostreet71

Your machine was built around 2009/2010 therefore due to the whitelist the chance to upgrade internal wifi card is none. You are using USB already, please keep it going. I'm using the following USB adapter

           https://www.amazon.com.au/ASUS-USB-AC53-Nano-Dual-Band-Wireless/dp/B071KV2SMV

And it works great

Regards.

Looking at the manual, 554604-001 was also used in this laptop so wouldn't it work?
