Hi, I have a HP EliteBook 8460p and it says that the wireless capability is turned off. It worked last night and I'm not sure how to put it on because now my wifi doesn't want to connect. Can anyone assist me please. On the laptop by the wifi picture the light shows orange

That orange light means the WiFi has been disabled.
There is often a hardware switch on the side of the laptop that will enable or disable the WiFi. It can be hard to find, but check the sides and front for such a switch. It's easy to accidentally move the switch to disable the WiFi.
