Hi, I am trying to connect my laptop to an LG Smart TV but I am not able.

I activated the Screen Share on my TV and I easily connected my Samsung phone.

But, when I try to connect my laptop, it doesn't work. I search for a wireless screen from y PC, I find the LG Web OS TV SK8100PLA, but when I click on it to connect I have the message "Impossible to connect". The TV is ready to accept connection and when I see the message that the PC i trying to connect I click "OK". I installed the drivers for the TV on my PC. When I first tried to connect, I had the error after several seconds, but lately the error appears immediately when I click to connect.

Is it possible that my PC is non compatible with the TV??? Or, am I missing something?

I obviously tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers.

Please help me.

Thanks

Giovanni

@Giovanni77 The only way to connect your HP laptop to a wireless TV is using the Miracast, and here's all you need to know about it:

Miracast is a wireless technology that projects the image from your computer screen onto another monitor, TV screen, projector, or streaming media player that also supports Miracast. You can use this to share what you’re doing on your computer, present a slide show, or even play your favorite game on a larger screen.
