Hi @GeorgeZervas

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Victus 16.1-inch Gaming Laptop is having a serious Wi-Fi connectivity issue, where the Wi-Fi option is missing, and you're unable to toggle Flight Mode. This could be due to an issue with the Wi-Fi drivers, system settings, or a hardware-related problem. Let’s go through a series of troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue:

1. Check if the Wi-Fi Adapter is Disabled

The Wi-Fi adapter may have been accidentally disabled or uninstalled.

  1. Right-click the Start menu and select Device Manager.
  2. In Device Manager, expand the Network adapters section.
  3. Look for your Wi-Fi adapter (it could be named something like Intel Wireless, Realtek, or Qualcomm).
  4. If you see a downward arrow on the adapter or the adapter is missing entirely:
    • Right-click on it and select Enable if it's disabled.
    • If it’s not showing up at all, proceed to the next step to check drivers.

2. Reinstall or Update Wi-Fi Drivers

Sometimes, Wi-Fi drivers may become corrupted or get uninstalled accidentally.

  1. In Device Manager, under Network adapters, right-click your Wi-Fi adapter and select Uninstall device.
  2. Restart your laptop. Windows should automatically reinstall the driver.
  3. If the Wi-Fi adapter doesn't reappear after restarting:
    • Go to the HP Support website and enter your laptop model to download the latest Wi-Fi driver.
    • Install the driver manually and restart your laptop.

Update Drivers:

  • Alternatively, you can try updating the driver:
    1. In Device Manager, right-click the Wi-Fi adapter and select Update driver.
    2. Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
    3. Follow the prompts to update the driver if a newer version is available.

I hope this helps.
