Wireless module upgrade to 5GHz for my HP 15-r263ur

I wanted to change the wifi module, tell me which module will fit which plug is there m.2 or miniPCIE and does it remove the white sheet in the BIOS?

According to the service guide, this model notebook supports:

● Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 802.11bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi Adapter

● Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi Adapter

● Broadcom BCM43142 802.11 bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi + BT4.0 HMC Combo Adapter

● Realtek RT8723BE 802.11 bgn 1x1 Wi-Fi + BT4.0 HMC Combo Adapter

If the wireless card is 1x1: supports 2.4 GHz and below - Slow connection and download/upload speed.

If it's 2x2 or more: support 5 GHz and above - Fast connection and speed.

More info on the WLAN module can be found on page 61 of the service guide. 2x2 wireless cards are not tested on this model notebook by HP. You may use it at your own discretion.

I suggest getting a USB adapter to upgrade to the dual-band rather than updating the internal hardware as that could get rather complicated and expensive, you may check with any local retailer and get a Wireless USB adapter dual-band for way cheaper.
