Restart got the wifi back

I need to back up or at least get some of my important files

Maybe I can run that error windows fix thing but that takes forever.

Just not the time with things I have to do to devote to it now.

Was hoping wind errors would point me in the right direction or any one...

I ordered a 7260 AC open box same sps# as mine

Can't even find my old right now & it would be nice to have a way to have tested the old one then I would know it did not work as it was bad & not something I could have fixed.

On Wifi 20 minutes...it's making errors & driver is resetting it but it works for a while but can't keep that yo yo wifi all the time.

Thanks Again

You're very welcome.

Hopefully those antenna wires will hold out for you.

I broke both terminals off an Intel 7265 PCIe x1 desktop wifi adapter trying to upgrade it to the 9260.

Fortunately, I was able to dig the broken terminals out of the antenna wire connectors, so I could attach them to the 7265 wifi card.

I will never try to upgrade a M.2 wifi card again.

Never had a problem with the antenna wires with the older HMC and mini-PCIe cards.

The antenna wires and terminals were a little larger.

Well, Got my new used 7260 & installed it.....

Been on wifi a record few hours~!!!!

I am having to conclude that my 7260 failed & needed replacement/ The 9260 did not work!

Whatever this is the longest I have been on wifi for 3 years!

I full day & wifi  still working...It found its own drivers from my laptop.

I think the blue tooth did not so its unknown but I am not going to install drivers for it or change anything as to avoid

the chance of messing the wifi as I don't need blue tooth.

Anyway I guess I should have bought the same card in 2019 as the 9260 did not work I also noticed it has an extra gold

bar on it but everything else lined up.

Thanks~~~

If you want the Bluetooth drivers, I saved them to my Skydrive folder before Intel removed them from their website.

I have shared the link to that folder below.

SkyDrive

Download, unzip and run the Intel Bluetooth driver from the following zip file:  Intel 7260AC WiFi & Bluetooth Drivers.zip
