Hi @syed0001,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

The hardware ID you shared  PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5229&SUBSYS_1854103C&REV_01 actually corresponds to a Realtek device that is usually not the Bluetooth adapter. This is likely why Windows Update is installing a “broken” driver. Installing the wrong driver won’t fix the Bluetooth issue.

To help us provide the correct driver and installation steps, please provide the following details:

  1. Your full HP Product Number – this can be found on a sticker under your laptop or by pressing Windows + R → type cmd → enter wmic bios get serialnumber
  2. Confirm if Bluetooth appears at all in Device Manager, and if so, does it show any error code (like Code 10 or Code 31)?
  3. Enter the serial number on this link https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers and download the bluetooth driver .

I hope this helps.
