Hi @nada_elsawy
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query.
I understand that your Bluetooth functionality has been missing since yesterday. Whether Bluetooth is completely absent from Device Manager or if it is visible but not connecting to devices? Additionally, please share any recent changes, such as Windows updates, driver updates, or software installations, that occurred before the issue started. I would request you to please follow the steps:
Verify Bluetooth is Enabled
- Go to "Control Panel" > "Network and Sharing Center."
- Click on "Change adapter settings" and ensure that the Bluetooth Network Connection is not disabled. If it is, right-click and select "Enable."
Check Bluetooth Service Status
- Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog, type services. MSc, and press Enter.
- Look for "Bluetooth Support Service" and ensure its status is set to "Started." If not, right-click the service, and select "Start."
- Set the startup type to "Automatic" by right-clicking on the service and choosing "Properties."
Update Bluetooth Drivers
- Visit the HP Customer Support website, go to the "Software and Drivers" section, and enter your product name or number (G72 Notebook b20SA).
- Download and install the latest Bluetooth drivers specific to your laptop's hardware configuration.
Allow Bluetooth Devices to Connect
- Go to "Control Panel" > "Devices and Printers" and right-click your computer icon, then select "Bluetooth settings."
- Make sure the "Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer" option is checked.
Pair and Connect Bluetooth Device
- Ensure the Bluetooth speaker is discoverable and powered on.
- In "Devices and Printers," click "Add a Device" and follow the instructions to pair your speaker
Remove and Re-add Bluetooth Device
- If the speaker has previously been added, remove it by right-clicking and selecting "Remove device."
- Try adding the device again by clicking "Add a Device."
Check for Windows Updates
- Go to "Control Panel" > "Windows Update" and ensure your system is up to date, including the latest patches or updates for Bluetooth.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
I'm an HP Employee.
