i do not have bluetooth capabilities. I would like to install something internally and prefer not to use a usb dongle or an external adapter. is there a component available for my laptop and, if possible, with wifi as well?

Yes, there is, and you will be able to upgrade the Wi-Fi as well to dual band AC:
You can replace the Realtek RTL8188EE-VJ 802.11b/g/n 1x1 Wi-Fi adapter with this model:
Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.
The card has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band with an AC router and an excellent signal.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure:

You're very welcome.
You should be able to find one of those cards on eBay. Search by the HP part number, not the model of the Wi-Fi card.
The right card is going to only have one antenna wire terminal to connect the antenna wire to.
