I can't find the cellular data on my pc and i don't have a mobile driver

Every Elitebook 840 G5 has a SIM card slot.

 

Your notebook is one of the 90% that does not have the optional WWAN hardware that is needed to connect to a cellular network.

 

All the SIM card does is authorize you to use your cell phone provider's network.


In order for the SIM card to work, your notebook must have one of the following WWAN adapters present in the device manager under the Network Adapters device manager category:

 

HP lt4132, LTE/HSPA+ w/GPS

Intel XMM 7360 LTE-Advanced

 

You can find the supported WWAN adapters and part numbers in chapter 3 of the service manual, if you want to try and buy one to install.
