The power port on this laptop has been a problem from Day 1 in 2017. HP replaced the cord once & the problem continues. It falls out on its own & the only way it will connect now is to secure it with a rubber band. The picture would be a great ad for HP's loss of quality over the years. It was an expensive laptop & not worth the trouble it's given me. After over 30 years, this is the last HP I will purchase.

@mctnys Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that you are facing a charger port issue.
In that case, I would suggets you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you,
Or you can conatct the local service center for repair.
Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.
1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2)Select the product type.
3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
4)Select the country from the drop-down.
5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.
