have the latest drivers able to see the services but there is no blutooth option in settings or the task bar

Hi:

 

Windows comes with Bluetooth settings, but if the PC has no Bluetooth hardware installed such as in the case of your model notebook, there cannot be Bluetooth networking.

 

You have two options to install Bluetooth:

 

1. Purchase a USB Bluetooth adapter.

 

2. Replace the internal Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11bg/n 1x1 Wi-Fi adapter with this model, which is a combination Wifi/Bluetooth adapter:

 

Realtek RTL8723BE 802.11bgn 1×1 + BT 4 LE Combo Adapter HP part number 753077-001.

 

You should be able to find this model Wi-Fi card on eBay.

 

Search by the HP part number.

 

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure.
