hey all, i lost the stylus that came with my hp envy x360 (i bought it in 2022, it came with a MPP 2.0 tilt i think). am planning to buy a new one, but i've been seeing a lot of other pens online (such as the surface pen). to anyone who has used them, are there better pens or should i just buy the same pen i had before?

Hi @gojekno2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your concern!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

For your HP Envy x360 (2022 model), the best option would be an HP MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen or any stylus that supports Microsoft Pen Protocol (MPP 2.0).

Best HP Stylus Options:

  1. HP Rechargeable MPP 2.0 Tilt Pen (Recommended) – Precise, pressure-sensitive, and supports tilt functionality.
  2. HP Pen (Non-rechargeable) – More affordable but lacks tilt and rechargeable features.

Non-HP Alternatives (Compatible)

  • Surface Pen – Works well with MPP devices but is pricier.
  • Renaisser Raphael 520/530 – Cheaper alternative with good performance.
  • Adonit Ink-M – MPP compatible, has a built-in mouse function.

let me know if need further help!
