Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I get a message; "no internet connect" after about one minute of in activity.  This is a wifi network connection and I do not have this problem with two other computers, both HP.

There are lots of reasons the network connection on your computer is faltering.

The Settings to which you refer might be the following scenario:

Notebook is running on battery and power wireless options are not optimized for performance

Control Panel > set icon view > Power Options

OR

Windows key + X > O (Opens the Power Options)

Select (your) plan

Change Plan Settings >

Change advanced power Settings

Scroll down and Open Wireless Adapter Settings

Click Power Saving Mode >>

Adjust Power settings for On battery and for Plugged in Option

For example, Select options for Performance or Saving

Apply / OK to change any changes

Example

Power_Options__Wireless_Adapter_Power-Saving_1Power_Options__Wireless_Adapter_Power-Saving_1

No Joy?

Wireless connection lost?

Lots of things can cause this, even having two devices fighting over the same  IP address.  In general, this is something you would be able to uncover on your router.
