Hi @1234567833 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to change or reset the password on your HP ENVY 5055 All-in-One Printer, follow these steps:

Step 1: Restore Printer Network Settings to Defaults

This will remove the old password and reset the network settings.

  1. Turn on the printer if it’s not already on.
  2. On the printer control panel:
    • Tap the Wi-Fi icon or go to Network Settings.
    • Select Restore Network Settings (may be under "Settings" > "Network Setup").
  3. Confirm the action when prompted. The network settings, including the Wi-Fi password, will reset to default.

Step 2: Reconnect the Printer to the New Network

Now, connect the printer to your new network.

  1. Tap the Wi-Fi icon on the printer control panel.
  2. Select Setup > Wireless Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your new network and enter the Wi-Fi password.

Step 3: Update the Password for HP Smart (If Applicable)

If you're using the HP Smart app:

  1. Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  2. Re-add your printer by tapping the + icon.
  3. Follow the prompts to connect the printer to the app and confirm the new password.

Step 4: Print a Network Configuration Page (Optional)

To verify the connection:

  1. On the printer control panel, go to Settings > Reports.
  2. Select Network Configuration Report.
  3. The report will show the new network details, including the IP address.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
