I am facing a lot of 5ghz network issues on my hp notebook. when I checked the specification it shows a single-band wifi card and a single antenna. so is it possible to attach a dual band wifi card to this model as well dual antenna? and is it work fine?
Please give me a proper solution to use the 5ghz wifi network on this laptop.

Hi:
Below is the link to the parts list for your notebook.
It comes with a Realtek RTL8723BE Wi-Fi adapter.
I'm not the least bit surprised that you can't connect to the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band since that model Wi-Fi adapter only works on the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band.
You can upgrade the Wi-Fi card to this model, which is dual band, but I don't know if it has driver support for Ubuntu.
Check an Ubuntu forum before buying the card to make sure it works on Ubuntu.
Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005.
The card has a maximum throughput of 433 MBPS on the 5.0 GHz Wi-Fi band with an AC router and an excellent signal.
You can find this model on eBay, or Ali Express.
I see some Intel 3165 cards listed on the eBay listings, so don't buy those.

On the Ali Express listings, make sure the card has the HP Part # of 915620-001.
Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the Wi-Fi card removal and replacement procedure.

Hello
As per your guide, I bought a Realtek RTL8821CE 802.11 ac 1x1 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.2 Combo Adapter (MU-MIMO supported) HP part # L17365-005 and I install it on my ubuntu HP machine and it's worked on 5ghz fine but it getting very slow internet.
When I refer to the hp Maintenance and Service Guide then it shows Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165
802.11 ac 1x1 WiFi + BT 4.2 Combo. So please help me choose the right dual band wifi card.

The Intel 3165 won't give you Bluetooth because you need two wireless antenna wires to connect to it.
The Intel 3165 has the same specs as the Realtek card--433 MBPS max connection speed.
The card works fine in Windows (I have to RTL8821CE's in two of my HP notebooks), so I can't help you with sourcing a better card for Ubuntu.
Did you check the Ubuntu forums to see if there are newer drivers for the card?
The drivers for Windows are as current as August 2022.
